Experience, values and approach.
Trauma-informed counselling, supervision and organisational support grounded in clinical practice and leadership experience.
I am a counsellor, professional supervisor, trainer and consultant with a Master of Counselling, PACFA Registered Clinical Member status, ACA Level 3 membership and membership of the ACA College of Supervisors.
My counselling experience began in alcohol and other drug, family and women’s health services, where I worked as a Senior AOD Counsellor and Family Therapist from 2001 to 2011. I now bring that direct practice background together with more than 15 years of senior and executive leadership experience across mental health, trauma recovery, multicultural services, community and women’s health, alcohol and other drug services and social impact organisations.
My professional background includes leading multidisciplinary teams, overseeing clinical governance and risk, supporting accreditation and quality improvement, managing funded service delivery, developing partnerships and contributing to trauma-informed service design.
Across counselling, supervision, training and consulting, I value inclusive, culturally responsive and respectful practice. I aim to create a safe and welcoming space for people from diverse communities, identities, backgrounds and life experiences.
